I am getting ready to go to the mechanic on Monday to have my car aligned and to have the power steering looked at. I have a fluid leak and I see torn tie-rod boots w/ all the grease inside splattered under the car.

I have heard that the 99 rack is tighter feeling than the 95-98 and I am wondering if I can replace the 97 one with a rack made for the 99? If so, is it a direct swap?
