Ok, so like 3 weeks ago, i changed my passenger axle cause the cv joint leaked all the oil out. Went to napa, got a reman. one. Made a big clunking noise. I just went to napa today to switch a reman one. PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!!! But here's the dielmna. Its vibrating like CRAZY when acclerating. Could this be that i didnt change the driver side and its stil oem from 98??? Or it doesn't matter and the balance is off on the axle and doesn't really matter if i switch teh driver side or not... I'm really thinking about returning it and getting it from raxles. Now i know why you guys order from them. Napa also have new ones, but its 140. Raxles is abuot 150 i think. What should i do???

MAIN QUESTION IS, IS THE VIBRATION DUE TO THE FACT I DIDN'T CHAGNE THE DRIVER SIDE ALSO OR IS IT BECAUSE ITS ANOTHER BAD AXLE?!?!?!

Maybe i just need an alignment?? but why would it ONLY vibrate when accelerating...

 

The vibration is not because you only changed one side. You should get an alignment when you change your axle, it could be that. Also, did you tighten the three 12mm bolts that bolt that axle to that bracket on the motor?

 

yup, did everything. But it was vibrating when accelearting rpetty bad, but update. I just returned the piece of craps (plural) they gave me and ordered from raxle. Should be here in a couple of days. Freaking asses
