old squeaky engine belts replaced

i'm currently in the process of having my old, squeaky, dry-rotted belts replaced under the hood. i don't know exactly which belts are being replaced by the mechanic, but do you guys think i'll see any difference in performance or anything? i know it will sound better and ultimately be better for the car and the life of the engine, but daily driving will i notice any difference in anything? just curious...

I doubt a difference will be felt, just the noise will go away.
