was gonna diagnose my car today, found a website where it tells u what to do so it throws engine codes, but my engine light is not even on, the bulb is gone prolly. is there any other way to diagnose? i think my knock sensor is gone, little hesitaton when giving gas.

 

it shouldn't be that hard to replace te CEL bulb. Also if I were you I rather spend the bulb price then to replace the knock sensor that may not even need changing.

 

If I were you, i'd fix the problem and not change the bulb so when you sell the car the person will never know when a problem pop's up..Yes, IM A BUSINESS MAN, I THINK LIKE A DEALER DOES...

Will only work if the buyer is an idiot. Which is why I wouldn't buy a used car without scanning it for current or pending codes...................and most dealers do the same thing on trades..........................And, if the bulb is out, just switching on the key will trip you up and kill the sale. Really bad idea.........................................fix the damned car!
