??? on water pump installation....

Anybody know how to do a water pump replacement. I need to know because I am doing mine this week and pictures would be helpful. I have the Haynes manual but their pictures are not that detailed.

I dropped the timing chain tensioner guide in the timing cover during my water pump replacement. I haven't tried the magnet yet. What do I do if I can't get it out. The timing chain tensioner was hard to get out.

You'll have to take the timing cover off to get it out.

Good luck with that.

damn. I was hoping I didn't have to do that. How hard of a job is this? Well, I mean to ask, how long of a job is that? I think I have to start looking at some professionals to finish this repair for me.
