Well, I called oxygensensors.com, and was told that there is an option of a 3 or 4 wire Walker sensor for the downstream sensor in the cat. My car was manufactured in 5/95.. so I was wondering which 1 to buy???? He said he lets the customer do the guess work, so if they have to return it, they pay a restocking fee. Also, is 10% off, the right discount for over the phone transaction?

95 had 3 for the downstream.

 

but my car is a 96 ???? It was produced in 95 but its a 96', so is it still 3 wires ?

 

Thats how my 96 was. It was made 11/95 as a 96 model. I have the catalytic coverterfrom my 96 on my 99 with the O2 sensor still stuck in it. I just looked at it.

 

so then in fact it is 3 wires right ?

 

3 wires. The one in my cat had 1 red, 1 black, and 1 white.
