Noisy ac fan

When I am driving around and have the air conditioning on in my max I have noticed that on occasion the fan makes a small amount of noise. This does not happen every time and it is a very minimal sound but I would like to try to fix the problem before it gets worse. Does anyone have an idea on what I can do to fix this, thx.

Pull the motor/fan assembly out and clean the accumulated debris out of the housing. If the noise is squeaking or dry bearings you can apply a few drops of machine oil to the area where the shaft enters the motor. This may or may not help or may help for a short time. Otherwise replace the motor.

How much would a motor cost? Do you have any idea?

Same problem here. $72 for the motor. Very easy to replace. I would wait and replace it if you can. Eventually it will get to the point where it wont come on when you turn the fan switch and then you have to hit it with something. Spend the money and replace it.
