Tell me how good or bad your Gas milage is

OK OK, some people are complaining about their gas milage cause some people get more then others. I just wanted to know the percentage of people that get over 500+mileage on their tank of gas, vs people that get 400+ vs 300+ vs 200+vs 100+.

Also tell us your year and type of max with what trans with what kind of rims you are riding on(19,18,16stock, ect) and list your mods on your car. What you have replaced and saw the difference in your mileage. Plus your driving habits.(heavyfoot, ect)

97 SE Autotragic with stock 16s, I have a Ram air intake with about 50/50 city and highway drive and get 320ish miles per tank, normal driving with occasional heavyfoot.

Right now, stock rims, no performance mods, high idle problem, get around 320. But when I had my intake on and no high idle, I got around 380. I always drive slow too.

That's pretty bad, have you kept up with your maintaince? Any codes? I would be pi$$ed if I had that mileage. But then again sometimes you drive fast, I would drive slow for a whole tank and see if it increases some.

99 SE, 5spd, short ram intake, 17x8 rims, moderate driving some heavy foot...380-430. Now if I'm on the highway going across state its higher. I went from Dallas to Galveston and back on one tank and still had 1/8 tank left. I got 574.
The most I ever got out of my 96 auto with same mods was 661, sputtered pulling to the pump.

my mileage sucks. i filled up with hess 93oct. i'm now under 1/4 tank, and i'm only at ~190mi. i've replaced basically everything i can think of, plugs, fuel & air filters, KS, changed oil, cleaned TB. i have the 17" 350z rims, stock intake and ypipe. as far as driving style, usually i take it pretty easy. a few months ago, i added some lucas oil to my tranny fluid to try to smoothen out the 1-2 shift. might be a dumb question, but could that have impacted my mpg? i really need to do a flush, just trying to make the time.

I get about 350 miles per tank. I have a 97 auto on stock 15's with a short ram intake and a y-pipe. It's about 60/40 city to highway driving and I tend to keep it under 2500rpm around the city. On the highway, it's a different story

I got last tank about 415. I usually stop at 400 and fill up, i dont like riding around with my light on. i run premium, and i have 18's. Most of my driving is stop and go, due to heavy traffic in my area. I just replaced my knock sensor, i was getting about 345 per tank. Big improvement. Thanx for you who do write ups, i could not have changed it without you

'95 auto SE (15" sawblades)...y-pipe and intake...93 octane only...95% city driving...I'm a teenager, so I drive like an idiot. I usually get between 300 and 330 per tank.

This is a pretty awful poll. You should have made this into "what is your mpg?" since some people fill up earlier than they have to. I'll say this though - on my last trip up to college, all highway, with stock sawblades, all maintanence done, good tire press. and cruise control, I got ~29.5 mpg. Had I tried to get a "full" tank out of the mileage, I would have definately been beyond 500 miles per tank. But honestly, miles/tank is a terrible way to monitor gas mileage.

Oh yeah, only k&n panel filter and hacked air box.

I consistently get 400 to 414 miles on a tank. I just put 17's on and I still get that range. I do a "mixed bag" of driving with city AND highway miles, and while I don't drive crazy, I don't drive particularly slow either. Oh yes, this range is achieved BEFORE the light comes on, using REGULAR gas, a knock sensor that's beenout for God know how long, and spark plugs that have 100,000+ miles on them. No joke.

Wow, dunno about the KS effecting mileage, but I bet if you change the plugs you would probably get close to 450. Or are they a special type of spark plugs that last forever? NAH!

i can get 400+ on a highway easy. Since most of the driving is done in city with majority of the trips less than 3 miles, I get only 250ish miles per 16.5 gallons. So I am not worried.

That is absolutely lousy mileage! I can get 500 miles plus on the highway consistently and the lowest I have ever had is about 350 when commuting.

I had to multiply 18.5gal x my actual fuel economy (which is around 25.0mpg). I refill anywhere between 10-14gal at a time. Next time ask for mpg. Only idiots talk in terms of miles per tank.

mid to high 300's. No performance mods, sawblades, tires properly inflated, no extra weight in the car, but EVAP code. Still doing good.

Tune up comming soon.

Delivering food in a Maxima sucks, gas-wise. It's good in the performance, but I use like a 1/4 tank every two days.

Slightly spirited (I like to gun it up every once in a while) 99 auto, stock all round cept a Hog air filter, all city driving (stop and go), and I get around 280 miles from full to light coming on. Could probably sqeeze another 40 out of it with light on, but chances are I'd be sucking my thumb on the side of the road if I truely wanted to know how much I could get out of a tank.

Yes I'm sure. I kept to the speed limit on that trip. From my driveway in Garland, TX to my in-laws in Surfside Beach, TX was 324 miles one way. I got there and back on one tank. I even stopped in Houston for a Nissan meet there on the way back. I couldnt believe it myself and thought something was off on my trip counter, but after a trip in my 99 it was the same distance.

Best was 28 miles per gallon on a tank that was all highway (with some higher elevations and grades to ruin my mileage ). Normally I get about 26 mpg, averaged out between city and highway driving. I skip gears, coast to lights and try not to drive above 65 on the freeway. When I first bought it, it was more like 17 mpg!! I learned my lesson quickly.

Work has gotten very itense lately, so I can fill up 16.5 gallons of 93 octane, and use that for atleast 3 weeks. I went 32 days without a re-fill 2 months ago. I probably spend equal amounts of time warming the car and driving it. Hence the lousy mileage. On highways I get around 450-500 per 16.5 of 93 octane.

I only out like 4-5k miles on the car last year.

I don't like to go past 1/4 tank, but it usually is right up on 400 by the time it drops that low. 50/50 driving with some time WOT.

I/Y/E, pulley, ahead of schedule maintenance, stock 16s slightly over inflated.

Premium Top Tier QT Gasoline as well.

I average about 420 mi to a full tank of gas. All rural driving, however on highwa it jumps to about 440-450 and that is with a lead foot. Everything is stock right now, except for the Turbo fuel saver I have installed.
