changin front struts

I'm going to changed out my front struts but in the book it says to mark where the knuckle connects wit the bolts what da hell they talking about?

Can you directly quote them? Are they showing the axle being taken off the wheel hub?

Ignore it. Unless the struts you are putting in have slotted bolt holes(which i've never seen out the box on Maxima struts) then there is no need to.

might have something to do with the strut mount location, they are slanted a lil bit to fit where the body slants to, i believe theres a arrow pointing outwards on it
