H-tech or H&R springs w/ Illuminas in NYC
I interested in lowering my max but I am nervous about spending all that money and not getting the ride I want afterwards. I have read a lot of descriptions of what the spring/shock combo will ride like but its really just an opinion of the person who writes it and I would rather see first hand how the car rides.
So if you live in NYC (preferable Queens) and have ethier the H&R or H-tech springs with the Tokcio Illumina shocks and wouldn't mind allowing me to meet with you so I could take a short ride in your maxima, please email me at dmangru01@gmail.com. It would be greatly appreciated.

I'm local to you, and I don’t think your gonna be too thrilled with either setup. I have H&R’s and Illumina and for queens I think it’s too rough. On the highways it rides overall great, but on the dips, potholes and ripples of queens local roads, it not gonna be a whole lot of fun.
At least I don’t think it is, to me it’s really rough, and my gf complains and make me miserable. Dodging potholes gets real old after a while. If I had a choice to do it again, I would go with H&R’s and Koni Yellows.
My .02 cents.

What are your settings? I'm running 2F/3R and the ride is stiff but not bouncy. I have run 1F/2R before and with was much softer...

I like my H&Rs and illuminas and i don't think it's too rough, taken there is much more rigidity and a difference in rebound rates, but corners are nice
I think H&Rs are the softest springs, if you set the illuminas to 1/1 then it's a soft ride, i keep mine 3/4! but for each his own.
