which brand name headlight should i get ???

i narrowed down to three choices.
1. PIAA Xtreme White
2. Sylvania Silverstar/Xtravision
3. or purchase one from Ebay.

i heard both PIAA and Sylvania are great headlights hands down.

thanks

I bought some PIAA plasma GT just to settle my curiosity. THEY ARE NOT WORTH THE $$. When looking at them head one they look stock. The light out put on the road is pure white but still not worth the $. My cousin has the silverstars in his BMW again they look stock, light out put is ok. If you get some ebay ones make sure they are not more than 60w.

If you are looking for something that looks nice and wont melt the harness...

personally, i would go with the nokya arctic white bulbs. I have had them in my last 3 cars, they are even in my girlfriends car. I sware by them. You can get them on ebay. I have been using the high wattage one's, with no problem until i got the max, every few weeks the passenger harness would fry. I finally got the stock wattage one's. Looks the exact same. I have received many compliments on these. They are the closest to the hid you can get

2nd this one about 9007. I don't feel the Maxima needs HID lighting since the OE reflector does well with halogen lighting. Cars with sealed beams could really use HID lighting.

Those would be terrible for bad weather, I would go XtraVision.

I just picked up the Philips bulbs at Autozone. Just a nice bright white color.

+1...I did the 9004 > 9007 Xtravisions, they are not bad even in rainy nights (Silverstars suck majorly here & don't last as long). Only thing I had to do was really aim the headlights lower, almost to it's fullest.

I have 9007 Piaa Extreme whites and they are awesome! They light up the damn road really good and have a great whitish bluish look. Silverstars I heard have an issue with blowing out so I decided to go with the Piaas. oh yeah if you go with 9007 piaas aim those biotches down cause they are BRIGHT! People used to flash me cause they though I had my brights on but they got a big suprise when I flashed them back lol.

1. Stay away from eBay -- the headlight bulbs are crap.

2. Go to NAPA and buy a set of TrueView. You will like the extra light and the fact that they are not artificially tinted blue..
