I have Xtreme Whites for more than a year. They are brighter and whiter than stock ones, but it's still 9004 and there is a limit. I don't regret buying them and am satisfied, but that's because I just wanted to replace 9-year-old stock bulbs.

I have the 9007 Piaa Extreme Whites and they are very bright. There is a very slight hint of blue but its way more white than silverstars. You can't go wrong with them if you don't mind their high price.

its always between sylvania and piaa. I own piaa(xtreme white) on my fog lights and they are really bright and white, almost match the white on my 4300k hid's. its defently worth the money and they last really long as well.

I have to disagree completely. I have had both and still use the PIAA's because they are superior in wet weather and just as bright and white otherwise. Plus, they have lasted now for three years as opposed to the SS's that burned out very quickly. And, no, I never touch the bulbs when installing.

i had the SS on less then a month and they seemed very bright compared to my stockers, but when i put in the HIDS now that's a completely different story..
so i was just saying from what i saw they seemed very bright and resembled a little of an HID

i had PIAA and SS. I can not justify dropping the extra $40-$50 on PIAA's. You may notice the difference if you are outside the car. Otherwise its pointless.

Pick up the SS and go cheap. They work very well. SS i purchased have lasted over 2 years now. One PIAA bulb died in 3 years.

Any clear untinted bulb will always be brighter if they have the same bulb filament designation. Imagine looking out of a side window with 35 percent tint compared to a window without tint, the difference in light traveling through is obvious.

I ran 9006 xtreme whites and they are just too dime. Although the color of the light may appear whiter to your eyes, the brightness is decreased. Any increase in brightness is just your eyes fooling you. Upgrade with a 9007 or an auxilary HID system.
