steering problem please help!

okay so we lowered the max today, the front was a pain to do. i hated aligning the stupid knuckle to the bottom of the strut. so anyways after its been lowered the steering wheel when turned left will let the steering wheel sit at the left side, yet the car still goes straight. then when i turn it right, the steering wheel stays right yet the car still goes straight. this is only after turns and stuff when the car is turned at least 30 degrees pretty hard. does anyone have a clue what could be the source of this problem?

I have somewhat of the same problem. It's not just the alignment, though you should really get that done after lowering the car. Your steering rack may be shifting left and right causing your wheel to sit at a certain position when you make a left/right turn. Mine only does it with hard right turns, the wheel stays cocked to the right but goes straight. Turns out that my steering rack bushings are worn and letting the rack shift back and forth just slightly. Replace those if the alignment doesn't work.

to me, that sounds like symptoms of a bad tie rod. but its weird that u have these symptoms only after you lowered the car
