Fender Repair. With Pics!!!

Hey everyone, a long time ago i put a HUGE dent in my front right fender that was about 9 inches long and an inch deep. Today my dad and i fixed it using body hammers and body filler. we used four coats of body filler and it came out so nice. We put primer on it and it will stay that way until it is ready for the whole body to be painted. lemme know what u think.

www.paintscratch.com sells paint if you are gonna paint it your self, the site has tips on bending the paint so it matches better too.

valvestud,
I don't own a maxima but I'm pretty sure our cars are similar. Since you worked on the fender can you tell in my pic if there is frame damage?

i highly doubt that there is frame damage there but the fram on the maxima is around 2 to 3 inches away from the skin of my fender. what happened to the car? take out the fender lining and see if you can stick your hand bhind all the dents. if you push hard enough it will pop out a little bit.

It got hit by a 1956 Chevy. It's pushed in about 3 inches. The thing I was worried about is on the top it's touching the hood and kinda bent the hood. I have more pics, maybe we can talk about this through the PM. This is an altima and is considered OT. Can I send you some pics through the PM??

Yes it's a 2nd gen altima.

yea go ahead and send them. im almost positive that all you have is body damage. the frame would move that easily.
