Mine ain't that great either, replaced all of 15k ago. I also get some squeaking and on the occasional high speed (90-50mph) braking I actually get a little brake shudder.

I hope to eventually get some Z32 calipers and rotors and install them, but until then it's pretty annoying. They have very little bite to them and quite a bit of mush.

Because The Brakes Were Meant To Be For A Luxurious Ride...an Upgrade Is Needed For Any Performance Oriented Driving. The Upgrade Has To Match Your Setup...i Might Put Hawk Pads Only At First And See What Happens

i had the same prob when I bought mine, I almost rammed into a car because I overestimated its stopping power, if it's not squeaking it probably needs to be bleeded, after bleeding the brakes mine started functioning properly...if it screeches you need a new set of brake pads

Hawk pads (if you wanna replace your pads)
Stainless steel lines (increases brake pedal feel)
Blank rotors (if its daily driven, i recommend RTP blanks or Brembo blanks if you wanna spend the extra $$. I dont see a difference between the two.)

It also may be a hotspot developed on the rotor, thats what made mine sqeak horribly.

Some pads just suck. I had axxis ultimate pads which decimated my brand new rotors. The pads only lasted ~12k. They dusted like mad since day one and made noise when braking. I just replaced them and put EBC green stuff pads. I will be honest there is seriously a feelable differance, but a downgrade. My car seems to have lost its braking power. I dunno if its something that the old pads messed up or if those axxis ultimate pads were really that good in stopping power. However they were so annoying, and my rims were constatly black. What kinda pad wears out so fast.... Anyway my point is try some new "performance" pads. Hawks seem to advertise as being good, my friend has them on a Trans am, hes happy. Can't say much about EBC green stuff yet i didnt have the pads long enough to tell you how they are, im still taking it ez on them. Axxis ultimate were really good, but they dust so bad, and squeel at anything less then full braking, and dont last long at all, which makes them a horrible pad in my book.
