alignment after ball joint replacement

Do i need an alignment after i replace a ball joint??

Also, how soon after...will it be messed to where I can't drive (ie. after i replaced struts) or will it be drivable for a day or 2??

Thanks

There will be many here that will impulsively say that you absolutely need an alignment but the truth is that you don't. Caster is not adjustable, removing the strut to steering knockle bolts and nuts and reinstalling them changes the camber a fraction of a degree at most (not adjustable anyway), and the only thing that is adjustable, the toe, won't be changed as long as you don't touch the lock nut on the tie-rod.
