Remove black plastic panels from sides

10mm socket to unplug the harness.

get a "L" shaped ratchet philips screwdriver and unscrew the 4 screws holding the ecu into the bracket.

I think i read somewhere on here that its easier to take out the ecu with the bracket attached to it instead of seperating it from the bracket. Donating and searching would help you a ton.

when I did was take out the four screws holding it in, I used a short screwdriver where possible and when I couldn't use that, I just used some needle nose pliyers to turn the screws out from the sides, it dings them up a little bit but not too bad.

Good luck, it a pain in the butt to get that thing out of there

remove the bolts, the screws are what holds the backet to the ecu. Just remove those bolts, then the ecu with the backet will come out. Remove the 10mm bolt that holds the ecu to the wires and then swap.
