tail light problems..

tail light problems..

ok soo i posted thease over on a different thread..
but can u figure out the way this light was tinted..


i cant figure it out..and its pissing me off. Or if i can just buy one off some on thats not tinted so they all match would be great!
but i wouldnt mind all of them be that dark...

Looks like it was tinted with some VHT Niteshades. I'm not sure what you're asking.

well that was pretty much it..i just didnt know what that one light was tinted with cause the damn garage wouldnt tell me..after breaking it!
i guess i should just get a new one..or can u pull the light shades off.

Try to pull the shade off, if it doesn't come off, it's painted on. At that point, you'll have to buy a new one.

you dont need to pull anything off, just run your fingers over the tail light, if it has a grainy feel, then its been painted on with the nightshades spay paint. (most likely), if it looks like a solid piece of plastic then it can be pulled off.

and its sprayed on..is there anyway i can pull it off with out ruining the lens....

it is if your tinting tails.

So your car was in the shop, they broke your tails and tinted them so you wouldnt notice? I missing something here

well my other tails were tinted..however i took my car to a wash and whatever they did to it at that paticular car wash made the spray tint flake off. so yes i had it in the shop they broke a tail...they tryed to give it back to me with a broken tail. so i was like um no..fix it and make them match..yeah they never matched..and now it looks completley stupid as u can tell..

that is night shades on there roughly 3-4 coats u can either strip that paint off of that tailight or do the rest of the tails the same way

I think you can get VHT Nightshades from Custom Enterprise
