Cat-back

I know some guy in a Tijuana muffler shop who said he can put in 2 1/2 inch piping from the cat to the muffler for about $70-$80. Do you all think I should go for it, maybe get 3" instead?

no point in doing 3'' , not enugh back pressur, u might as well cut the pipe after the cat, cat backs dont give u much preformance tho

Alright, I won't do 3" I just wanted to be sure. The Y-pipe and cold air intake are coming in soon, right after this smog thing is taken care of. If everything goes well then I'll get 2 1/2" piping from the back of the cat to the muffler. I'm thinking of getting the Stillen muffler and although the gains might be minimal with this set-up, it sure beats not having any exhausts mods at all.

AND ALSO, I THINK I'M STARTING TO GET ADDICTED TO MODDING

3 inch will not keep good exhaust stream velocity.
