nah.....i mean i got my check engine light soon checked, and it said the iat sensor was shot. Thats why im wondering what the impact of running my car with out it would be. ANd i wanted to know if anyone knew where to get one or what the cost would be.....anyone have a pic of the sensor and or location?
Well, I had mine unplugged while I was working on an intake setup for a few days, and the entire time it was unplugged my car ran like crap. The RPMs would dip to like 300 if I came to a stop (and then immedeatly rise back up to a safe level).
it's plugged into the black box-like casing that houses the air filter. on the side closer to the windshield. I have a code for this, so if anybody has a working one for sale for cheap (very cheap) PM me please
this may be a stupid question, but i am really not sure....i replaced my stock intake with a K&N PAI, which required me to get rid of the stock intake box, which got rid of my IAT sensor...anyone know if not having this in the picture anymore would cause any problems?
wow when i put my injen in i forgot to plug that in. it was just sitting there for like 2 months just last weekend when i was doing my knock sensor i saw it there and put 2+2 together....humm hole in intake....this fits hole....DONE ! buit seriously my car ran no different....
bump.... no one knows location or has a pic..... does the inside of the plug have orange.. or is it just that thin hose cuz its in so...? i dunno maybe the sensor it self is shot.
