Remote control on my 99 maxima only functions right after i shut down the car and I am able to lock it only within 30 secs after that time has passed, the remote control doest not function, I used diff remote so i am pretty sure it is not the remote, I resetted it many times.

What can it be ?

Have you tried to reprogram the remote? It's in the How-To stickies, this has happened to me too, I just said f*ck it and only use the key.
