wierd chattering knocking sound when driving slow
For the past week I have been having a strange rattle knocking sound when Im coasting to a stop. It doesnt matter what rpm, if im in gear or not, or when the brakes are applied so I dont think its any of those. It sound like someones tapping on my hood when I hear it. I dont hear it at high speeds, only when going slow like 10 mph. I took the wheel off and checked the suspension and brakes to make shure its not loose but didnt find anything wierd. Could it be a wheel bearing? I dont hear any sound when I turn so Im not shure its a wheel bearing or CV joint. Im not shure what to look for now.

i kinda have a similar sound like that espeically when im stopped in drive. Its just the dash rattling and can be fixed by putting "squek" tape on pretty much every little connector in the dash. There is a Technical service bulletin on it.

do you still have the GC's in? have you tried applying wheel bearing grease on the springs? especially between the spring and the top hat since the springs are really short. mine had somewhat of that kind of sound.
