BOSE + CD changer

BOSE + CD changer

i know im gonna get owned for this...but i cant find the answer anywhere. what ever happened to maximadriver.com? i think they had the answer.

anyway, i just wanna know if i can connect a changer to my existing bose setup...i heard there were adapters available...

or i could just go with an RF setup. any ideas?

If you have a BOSE get an IPOD and do the AUX input mod. IPOD can hold more then your CD changer can.

hahaha... wow.... man we dont flame everybody...

yes if you have a BOSE headunit u can.... but note the years vary in cd changers... well the connectors atleast....

i mean i fyou splice it youc an use a 01 changer on a 96 but why.... just buy the aftermarket OEM compatible one.. i forgot the company that sells it...

ebay should have... it...

i looked on crutchfield and alls they have is RF universal ones. im told that if they connect directly to the antenna they work well. the only two brands are sony and pioneer tho. im pretty sure id go with pioneer.

what is the oem you speak of? theres a couple on ebay, im just not sure of firment issues.

I have a pioneer connected to mine. (fm modulated) It works well but the sound quality is lacking. I don't recommend going that route.
