Motor Mount Question
I see threads about replacing worn out mounts and/or making them stiffer. My question concerns cause of (or factors leading to) failure.
Is it that they typically wear out over time thru "normal" use, that they're not up to the kind of torque our engines produce (under frequent WOT acceleration), or that they get too much brutal treatment with power-shifts, dropped-clutch burnouts, etc.?
