i got hit a few months back and my alarm isn't working the same anymore. It works when i lock the doors and everything but the remote doesn't have any range any more. if im standing right next to it then it will work after a few tries but if im standing away from it it wont work at all. i don't know if the antenna is in the rear and its just a wire i can move or what. thanks for any help

 

Have you replaced the battery in your remote recently? That might be all you need to do. My friend has a '95 pathfinder and his alarm was doing the same thing, he replaced the battery and now it works fine.
