Where exactly is the correct place to put the jack stands under the car without damaging/bending anything?! I would like to know for FRONT and BACK. Thanks

 

Garage jack points = where you jack up the car
4 middle circles = place to put jack stands

They are along the outside edge of the underneath. Stick your head on there and see. I use them all the time.

you can also hit the two chassis/frame rails inside the four jack points. (the runners inboard of the jacking points in the diagram above.) This decouples the rolling stock from the support point.

Makes a difference when you set up your suspension

 

Im actually bleeding brakes and just need to get the car up!!!

 

then jusr use the rear beam and front crossmember...there are spots for lift points under the car...the front are the "frame rails" the rear and little spots for stands of lift arms in front of the rear tires...not the notches but little spots u cant miss them

 

Just don't use the factory jack on a slight hill while installing a body kit. Soon after, you will be finding any jackpoint you can get your hydraulic under. And it is pretty hard with a 3"+ drop and only a couple lug nuts in.

 

Sounds like a bad experience!!! I couldn't use the rear because of my RSB. Anyhow, I managed to lift it from the front. As for the back, I lifted it up 1 side at a time. Thanks for the help guys.

 

what if you have a rear sway bar under the rear beam? will jacking up the bar to lift the car damage it?
