1999 Maxima Just a reg car. I replaced brake pads and found these (anti ratlle springs), but they were rusted and did not replace them is that Ok? I did not see anywhere or anthing on them. appreciated it. After breaking them in runs great.
ALSO THERE IS A STRANGE NOISE WHEN i TURN MY WHEEL .HAS BEEN THERE FOR A YEAR I THOUGHT THE BREAKS WERE THE PROBLEM BUT NOPE NOISE STILL THERE . I TOOK IT TO 2 DEALERS AND THEY CANNOT FIGURE IT OUT???ANY SUGGESTIONS. SOUNDS LIKE ROCKS IN THE HUB CAPS IF THAT HELP.

 

Alright, as far as the 'anti rattle springs' i have NO idea what on earth you mean. the noise when you turn the wheel, however, could be your powersteering pump, or a wheel bearing, without more details i cant help you. Does it only make the noise when you crank the wheel all the way, or only under acceleration when steering.... etc. more info needed
