Manual AC control LED conversion...

I am doing the manual AC control LED conversion to red. I have asked before, but never got a real answer. I was wondering what all is recommending for ordering when doing that. I am changing EVERYTHING to red. So how many resistors, how many LEDs, what kind of LEDs, i.e. type, square, circle. Etc.. I am going to be ordering some tonight. As well, how many do you think is needed for the entire car? To do, the window buttons. Thanks!

oh yeah... i ordered both 3mm and 5mm leds off of ebay which come with free resistors for cheap. you need about 15 of the 3mm and 3 of the 5mm, it can all be done with 3mm's tho. the cold/hot slider is a small rectangle led but i was able to file a 3mm to fit it. you only need resistors for 6 leds (if doing the hazard/defroster too). good luck and respond if you have anymore q's cuz i just finished it yesterday so its all fresh. btw i also replaced the bulb in the ash tray with a led/resistor too.
