ahh NJ is serious about automotive fraud and things of that nature...

are they using the new inspection machines that use the OBD reader... if not.. jsut clear the codes before you go on the machine...

but i can understand how it is... i have a damm CEL on the 98, because of EVAP prob.. ive cahnged every component and still have CEL..

there wasnt any emission probs cause i ran it on the dyno inspection machine and he fumes were fine

so i had to get it passed at the inspection....

it might be one of the boost sensor(no im not FI)

 

yea man ... it really is frustrating ... but I have one of the codes out of the way ... P1400 to be exact ... that solenoid is right in front of the air intake setup ... Now I just have to work on the solenoid next to the EVAP canister
