When I installed my FSTB from courtesy the car took on a slightly new tone when I would hit 3,000 up.
Name your gear or speed the hum is there.
It's somewhat of a growl mixed with an engine whine.
This probably bumped up the car from 70db at cruising speed to about 74db.
It is a noticable hum/growl/engine whine. And since I drive average 80mph at 3,100rpm the hum is constant but bearable.
Has anyone else encountered a change in engine frequencies after adding a strut bar?

No, I had the front about a month now and I just installed the back about a week ago, no noise. But I did notice that my struts were going.

My car has a noticeable hum now also...

It does it when idling and under any driving when the a/c is on cause the bar rests on the a/c line.

There starting to wear out. The car feels like it lefts of the road when I go over a hard bump.

The RSTB is a matter of opinion. Some people like it because it helps compinsate for the maximas crazy understeer, but others say that it doesn't help because the maxima is front wheel drive and they figure that the front is the best part of the car to be stabilized. Also it is a pain cause it goes across your trunk. Personally I wouldn't get it because I don't think its worth the money or the moving my sub in my trunk.

Only get the RSTB if you've got the Rear Sway BAR!

The sway bar is almost as good if not better than the FSTB.
THe car remains flat and very nuetral in cornering.
You may feel yourself lean but you car remains on a flat plane. FUN!
