Question(s) about spraying the inside of your doorpanels:

I see pics of some of you guys spraying the insides of your doorpanels. What is it and what does it do? I assume it's for sound deadening (simular to Dynomat), is this correct? Does it work well? What exactly is it, where can I find it and what is the cost? Thanks everyone!
