HELP!!!! How To...

I have a starting problem and asked a couple of org members and informed me that its the ignition switch that has the problem after i told them what's going on when i try to start the car. I checked the stickies on a how to in replacing the ignition switch and I couldn't find one. Anyone have a link? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

i replaced mine a while back and it was pretty easy. the plastic pieces that cover your steering column behind the steering wheel need to come off. there should be about 4 or 5 screws holding the two pieces together. just take them out and you will be able to see the switch. i wasnt sure what it looked like but when i bought the part and took everything apart it became self explanatory. the hardest part was being able to get to the screws that hold the switch in place. you may have to get a bit creative to get those out but it isnt impossible.

Pretty easy to replace and I'm not overly mechanically inclined. You just take the shroud off behind the steering wheel with a couple of screws from the bottom along with the plastic cover above where you knees are and you'll be able to see the ignition switch. Takes about 5-10 minutes with a few screwdrivers.

Haynes manual will help though.
