New Wheel Bearings Front How long to I have to replace

Just got the word my wheel bearings are the noise problem. (Front) when going slow clicking sound when turning. I do not drive it much. Is there any damage that can be had by going another 5,000 or so miles. Thank you

I think you're confused. When you're turning, and it clicks that is typically your CV joint. Wheel bearings will hum loudly, and are very load dependant. Meaning they hum when you're going straight a little, but when you turn they get very loud.

If it is your wheel bearing, replace it ASAP. There is no guessing as to how long it will last, typically people replace them immediately because they will lock up on you. You will lose control of the vehicle.

Thats not bearing, thats the CV shaft. My worn bearings made a scratching noise on and off. They were $56 at a Nissan Dealership, but you have to get 2 seals too which were $15 apeice. I had mine installed for 135$ at a local shop.

Bearins are $30 at Advance. Don't wait to do it. I waited and luckily my wheel didn't lock or fall off but I ground down my hub and now I have to replace it before the bearings are replaced. The knuckle is sitting in the shop. That's another $130 for a dealer.

Bad rotors would not cause the clicking sound unless your lugnuts or the brake caliper is loose.

Most likely a bad CV joint.

Nope can't be rotors if the sound is clicking, I say stop going to that shop because they are either BSing you to have more jobs or they don't know what the hell is going on. In either case, you can't trust them.
