I have had my CEL on for about a year with code P1400 egrc solenoid valve. I have tried cleaning out the egr system and checking continuity on the valve. Well I failed inspection at motor vehicle and have only 2wks left unti lmy temp tag expires. I decided I will replace the egrc solenoid valve and hope for the best. I got the part number off the forum here of 14956-31u10. When I called my local nissan they quoted me a price of $100.63 but when I go to courtesyparts.com it just says nissan valve assembly and a price of $63. Is this the same part and if so why such a big difference in cost?

The regular stealership will always cost more than courtesy. I ordered a part for $111, and after the fact I found out it was $59 at courtesy. I will never do business with the local again. If you have a good parts dept. there, they may match it but I wouldn't get your hopes up.
