Potential Sunroof Problem

Over the last few days I've noticed that when I'm closing my sunroof, it'll get about halfway closed (not necessarily half exactly, just not all the way, and not always the same spot) and stop. I'm still pressing the button, but it stops. You don't hear the motor, either, so I know it's not stuck. At first I thought, ok, maybe the button is just really fidgety and requires absolute full pressure on it or it won't work. Now I'm not so sure, since it keeps doing it and never used to. I'm worried it's gonna end up stuck open one of these times.

The problem obviously must be electrical...but what? The sunroof isn't closing any slower or faster than usual, so I don't believe it's the motor dying or something.

There's nothing in the stickies that covers my issue. Don't you think I'd know to check the stickies when I've been a member for over 3 years and have 3500+ posts?

lmfao.......... I read those posts and I was like.. "what the?! are they serious?.." I guess perhaps we missed the sunroof stickes, ha.

btw as far as the sunroof I think its those HID's taking all the neccessary power. Maybe they're trying to say they're better than the sun.

I actually have the same problem you do and I dont know why its doing it either. But for a temp fix i just hit the window lock button twice and it works again. I dont know why but that seems to fix it if it stops.. I also had the same problem in my last maxima only it was my drivers side window that was doing it. Again I did the same thing to fix it.

I know..I have the same problem as him, meaning my sunroof is doing the same thing. But I also mentioned that my old maxima (which didnt have a sunroof) that the driver side window did the same thing that my sunroof is doing now.
