most likely (98%) gxe. go to the stickies, there is a VIN number decoder which will tell you if the car is exactly a gxe/se/gle

I'm guessing your VIN will look like this: JN1CJ01D*S*******

*'s representing things I couldn't guess, if the 5th and 6th letter/digit is J0, then its a GXE

If I remember right these refer to the chassis model:

Maxima SE = A2 = A32 Chassis
Maxima GLE = A3 = A33 Chassis
Maxima GXE = J0 = J30 Chassis

Then again, I could be very wrong =/

as mentioned above, its most likely a gxe. If the guages are black faced then its a gxe unless they were changed. good price on the car though, 103k miles is nothing for the vq. Also always good to see more members from wisconsin on here

Hubcaps came on a GXE. SE had alloy wheels. and GLE is an automatic so you car has to be a GXE.

my friend has a GLE that is stick and leather interior... I thought that it was normal for a GLE to have stick?

but post some pictures, maybe that will help as well

As far as I know (and what the general consensus is) GLEs have ALWAYS come with automatic transmissions. Your friend must have an SE.

Yup. And to help determine if it's factory leather: All maximas with factory leather come with automatic climate control.

You can add fog lamps and a spoiler and give it a cool look.
