Water Pump Replacement

It appears that my water pump seals have gone bad and I'm getting coolant dripping out from between the front wall of the oil pan and the ac compressor/alternator area. I have read the instruction in the how to section and just want to know if there is anything else that I should be aware of.

Also if it is just the seals that have gone bad do you think that I should try something that you put in your radiator to fix leaks and hope that it resolves the problem with the seals? I don't know much about the water pump.

Thanks matty, I've already read this write up several times and will be using it as my guide. Did you run into any problems? How long did it take you to complete the job?

Didnt take all that long. I have my blower on there so taking off the blower first then doing the job took a bit more time.

Only real problem is the lack of space you have. Just be patient and dont get ahead of yourself. Shouldnt have a problem.

And don't be alarmed by the load noise from your engine after you install the new one. It will subside in a few minutes.

I wanted to say thanks for the help on my water pump issue. I put the new pump in three days ago and have no problems since. The job was not as hard as I thought it would be but I guess that is because I had good instructions to follow.
