Help with clearence lights problem.

So I am having this very weird problemo. My tail lights are not working and my clearance lights wont come on when i turn the lights on. The clearance lights come on when I brake. So I was thinking that I blew a fuse or something. The only thing I did was put in some new outter tails that I got from chillian in the classified section. I used the stock wiring harness and bulbs from my car. What the hell did i do.

Did you check the fuse before posting this or just think about the fuse being bad?

I just thought about the fuse being bad. If it was blown I would have replaced it, but I plan on checking tonight. Anyone have any ideas?

It's wired incorrectly. Take it apart and put it back together. Then see what happens.

double check that you don't have a single contact bulb in a double contact socket and vice versa. wrong bulb in a socket can cause this problem.

if your clearance lights light up when you brake it has to be wired wrong then.
