Raybestos QS owners: Did you use factory nissan shims?

I tossed my factory shims and used the raybestos shims that came with my pads. I think its causing me various brake problems. Anyone do the same? I think im going to replace the brake hardware with nissan parts soon...

I have no shims on my QS pads.

EDIT: Woops, I have Wagner Ceramic QS pads, not Raybestos.

I tried the QS with no factory shims, and they were noisy. I finally took off the QS shims and put on factory shims, but still had noise. Best bet is stock pads and shims.

you do not need shims for most aftermarket pads

Anti-squeal > shims.

Also, rubbing the pads together a bit before installing and bedding them in go a long way.

I thought I was the only one that did that ritual.
