is the pop charger worth the extra $ over the k&n filter? Will i notice a difference between stock, k&n, and the pop charger? And is there a big difference in performance from k&n and pop? Thanx (need it quick, i am about to go buy a k&n filter)

I don't know about anybody else but I feel a difference with the POP Charger. Seems to have better high-rev acceleration. The sound of it when you tromp on the gas is pretty impressive.

I'll prove that a pop charger does something once I get my 14.7 this week. I've had a pop charger on for one week and I know I'm feeling a difference. If i can pull another 1.9 60' I'll have it for sure...

Turbo Magazine dynoed the K&N panel filter to have a 4hp gain. There is definitely an improvement in throttle response and revability of the engine with the panel filter.

Right. If that's the case, our pop chargers and cai's are getting a lot more hp then.

It was a 5th-gen Maxima, a few months ago.

The scuttlebutt on the 5th Gen board is that the K&N filter may give some increase in horsepower, but not the 4 HP quoted in the Turbo Mag dyno run. Apparently using an OSCAI with it does make a bigger difference.

The Maxima.org stickers have been proven to add 5 HP, but the additional weight curiously enough cancels it out EXACTLY.
