HID kit for my 4th GEN

I am planning on getting a HID kit for my 4th GEN. Does anyone recommend a particular brand. I have boiled it down to a couple. I'll either get the 7000k, 8000k or the 10000k. I appreciate all your feedback thanks.

Get the lower rating, they provide the best light output. The other ones are rice.

Get a lower rating so the color will light up the road better, the others ones are rice.

id recomend 6000K best compromise of lightout put and color. anything above your visability will start to go down.

I think he was asking for a certain brand recommendation, not light output... anyway, Helios makes nice kits with a lifetime warranty so that is always a good choice to consider.

thanks for the link, the pic I posted above does not have projectors. I was debating on getting those and retrofitting. There is one kit that I can get that has glare sheilds...so I'm still thinking about that.

cool, how did you get it to work? I know you had to mount the projectors in the housing somehow. Did you have to cut the housing?

yea the entire housing was cut in order to fit the projector.. the projector itself is acutally kinda bid and bulky... not to meancion that it has the high beam solenoid on the bottom which made it that much harder to work with...

wtf? it's a PLUG AND PLAY KIT.

Here's a tip, Go OEM. You'll have alot better output, and you'll have better longevity.

I have 06 Land Rover LR3 projectors, igniters, ballasts, and D2s bulbs.

The camera took a crappy pic, but you can see them here.
