I'm that 2nd person that thinks they are great, and you're right I have no idea about suspension...I've worked at a dealer for 3 years as a used car reconditioner and have driven almost all cars out there that cost less than $60,000...The only things I don't like about the drop is that now it's noisy, creaky, etc etc...but I know that's not the springs itself (I know the metals hit each other, but there's other little noises too)...other than that I *love* the looks and handling of the car now, it's night and day difference...I wish I had money to get some wheels now, but I promised that's the last mod I'll do to the car (springs)...I paid like $150 for the springs and $200 for the labor (I didn't feel like doing it myself).

i understand but hey, you can't beat the GD price. it retails for what..$1200+ or something? you don't see prices like that often for good coilovers

Even for the group deal price someone planning on spending 150 bux on springs prolly cant jump up 450 dollars in price.....but again if they arnt buying new struts to replace stockers if they have stockers they are gonna spend 400 bux on them anyway....but whatever and Hailber part of a good spring is not being super noisey like that....i liked the drop of my s-techs too...but they once u start getting on rough roads or tracking the car the spring rates cant handle the drop they provide......and being a glorified detailer does not give u knowlege on mechanics of suspension geometry

i have ksports aswell. i changed out all strut mounts and struts when i installed the springs and i love the ride. of course it is a harder ride, but that is what happens when a car is lowered. overall i would give them an 8 out of 10. a pretty good buy for the money

Again, I'm admitting that I don't know much about suspension...I referenced to the fact that I used to work at a dealer just to have cars to compare the handling to...none of the cars below $8,000 came close to how my car handles now...of course none of them were dropped...

but there are better springs with better rates that look just as good and handle way better...like Progress.....its not quite the drop....but anythign over 2" on maxima without true coilovers sux....the 1.7" drop looks great...i think the 2.2 i had with s-techs was too much but thats my opinion
