Tow hitch questions...

i know guys, but in the near future (hopefully) i may be looking to buy something smaller than a car and with 2 less wheels, but that is much faster than the I30, or just about any car out there anyway i want to know what my limitations for towing are, how much weight, can i use one axle, what class hitch, how horrid will this look, and so on and so on... thanks guys

ohh and pics would be loevely

anyway once again this is for my 98 I30, and i will do a tranny cooler if i end up installing anything like this....

the tow hitches for the max are a 2,000 pound capacity, and personally you wont see me trying to beat that. Crotch rocket, jet ski, atv, etc = should be ok. anything beyond that and u wont see me towing it with my max

For 4th gen Max, the towing limit is 2000 lb. The hitch receiver is class 1, I guess.

The hitches are pretty well hidden if installed properly. My recomendation is not to tow anything. That is what trucks are for.

If your going to tow something a few times i would do it with the max, but i wouldn't tow a lot because its a car i mean its not ment to tow which is why it doesn't have a big tow capacity. I mean my ranger with a 3.0L (less hp and torque) and it has a higher towing capacity.

yea, if this was anything bigger i wouldnt put my car through it, but it should be under 400lbs, and the trailer should be real light, so it shouldnt be too bad
