Cowl hood for the max

Since no one makes anything other than a factory or vented type hood for the max, I was thinking about doing a cowl type hood for my max. Something that follows the contour of the hood and has about a 2-3 inch rise at the rear. I'm talking about a mild cowl that will follow the body lines and let heat escape from the engine bay. Just wondering what you think. I am sure some will hate the idea from the get go and that's o.k. Just think about it and let me know. I know some of you guys are awesome with photoshop, if you have a minute, I would sure like to have an idea what it would look like. I know this takes time and energy, so I will pay someone to do this! My car is a white 96se. Thanks for your time.

A few years ago a friend of mine had a 2" cowl from a 69 Camaro grafted onto his yellow 300Z. I looked pimp and got a lot of compliments, even from the muscle car guys.
Give it a try.

imo the lines and style of the maxima are too much family sedan and not enough sports car to pull off a cowl. It wont have the agressive look a cowl is made to compliment.

Euromaxima was tryin to get a vented hood made, imo that would be the same or look better, just one vent that is. You might want to get with him to see if there are any developments.

lmao.. if you do it make sure it protrudes at least 5 inches high, any lower and you wont get the maximum velocity for your 4th Gen VIAS.

Thanks for the replies. Just looking for something different that would actually vent heat.
