alternator going bad???
alternator going bad???
Well, when i start my car in the morning or when its been sitting for a good min. the voltage is at 13.5 through the vafc2 I have hooked up. After driving for like 20-45mins or so it drops down to 12.7-.9 ish. Is this ok or should I replace the alternator. Also when I leave the turbo timer on the voltage drops to low 11's without the key in the ign. Any suggestions are helpful, thanks guys

1) You have a charging problem, could be the alty or could be wiring or ignition switch. Your going to have to troubleshoot the car, we can only take guesses for you.
2) The turbo timer isn't wired correctly, it's not leaving the alty on when you switch off your ignition.
