8000k Hids + Fogs ( Pics! )

Bought Some co-way hid's offa Hids2000 ( The vendor ) awhile back. Never posted pics because that same week my mom BROKE my digi cam. So i took some pics offa my phone. the pics dont do the output justice. One thing i notice is they have kind of a cutoff. im in love :-)

Yea yea, i know i should have projectors in there, you rich projector people can kick rocks....

But yea, great vendor, good guy to deal with, 200 for the headlights and 200 for the fogs. One thing i stil lcant figure out is why when i turn on my fogs they start out blue then warm up purple. Can it be my ballast? cuz these are supposed to be BLUE . :-\....

Holy glare batman!!!!

For about a $100 more you could have had projectors/ballasts/bulbs everything. Possible if you shopped around like crazy could have got some quality stuff for the $200 you bought yours.

But as long as you like it and don't blind the crap out of anybody you'll be alright I guess, but I don't think its gonna happen. A friend of mine has 8K HID in his Civic and came up behind me I couldn't see diddly ahead of me because of all my mirrors blinding me. He's been pulled over, flashed, you name it. He aimed them so low they're worthless. I believe he took them out.

yea, so far i've NEVER gotten flashed. i think it's cuz my headlights are new so the cloudiness isnt there. and i have them aimed low enough that i dont produce too much glare, ( seeing as i've never gotten flashed nor pulled over and i pass by cops daily ). i know i coulda got projectors but i love the output and i love the look of the hid's w/o projectors. Plus i dont plan on keeping the car super long so i mean it serves my need, wish i had a digi cam so i can show you true output. One thing i notice with the phone cam is it showed me exactly where i aimed them, i didnt know i aimed them THAT low. you can even see teh exactly spot where they're aimed, lol.

8000k is purple. Didn't you research the color before buying?

With after market kits, nothing is standardized, but usually 8000K is a blueish color.
