does anybody know what is the latest with production of these from a reliable source for a 4th gen?

It's all custom so call some shops in your area. I would say 200ish+install.

odd size to ship, will prob cost a lot. Custom built by a local welder is best bang-for-buck

So subframe connectors are just 2 metal bars crossed-welded to the chassis on the bottom?
