Another lowering thread
Within the next week i will be picking up my 17inch rims from a fellow org member, and this means the car needs to be lowered in the near future because i hate wheel gap. I like the ride of the car, but i would not mind it to be a little stiffer. I have never lowered a car and i have no idea what is best for the maxima. I am thinking 1 inch should be enough, but i am looking for opinions on that and how i should do it/what brands.

I have Progress springs, they provide a decent drop and they're pretty comfortable. Also look into H&R's, I've heard nothing but great things about the Illumina/H&R combo.
NEVER put lowering springs on stock struts, thats been said so many times over. I would suggest using Tein H-Techs, the drop is 1.6 front 1.3 rear, gives a reallly nice look, similar to the stechs but not quite as low. i have h-tech with tokico hp, love the setup.
BTW, these damn lowering and shock/strut threads are gettin really really really old. use the search function.

the cheapest possible would probably be KYB Gr-2s or Tokico HP's. but i think with stechs you should probably go with an adjustable shock such as the Tokico Illumnias, or KYB AGX, or even Koni Yellows
i dunno how much any of these cost
