Dude, you really need to search and browse around. I don't mean to be rude (although I'm sure some other orgers would be), but you've been here long enough to figure out how to get answers to your questions. Your questions have been asked many, many times before and you will get the best answers by reading what has already been written. People get tired of typing thoughtful responses to the same questions over and over again.

hes only been here like a month, lets not be too harsh (even though i am new i still agree). Clay bar is a form of cleaning the car and helps remove the left over gunk. Waxing is to protect this now exposed area.

Im brining my baby to the body shop tomorrow. I had a damn tree fall on my car so while i'm at i'll be taking off the strip (mine actually looks decent on the car) and debadging. Then wet sanding, compounding, polishing, waxing the whole 9 yards!!! I really hope there will be no discoloration!!

wanna sell me your emblems? hahah clay bar is an abrasive substance that you use on your car it takes off the impurities from the paint. Basically you spray some quick detailer and hydroplane the claybar over the surface a little. You'll find more in the detailing sections though.
