So I have a little problem with my cruise control. When I am driving I am able to turn on the system and the green light comes on... but I am never able to set the speed having the other light come on in the dash. Being here in TX it's a good little thing to have... I wouldnt be trying to fix it if I lived int he mountains.. we all know how cruise control acts in hilly areas.


If anyone else has experienced this problem and knows what is wrong, any input would be helpful.

 

Most likely your problem is one of the switches that that is used to cancel the system is not functioning properly. These would include, but not limited to, the brake lamp switch, clutch switch, or the cancel switch on the steering wheel.
